The Beach Observatories are a site of fictional astronomical observation, growing a collection of realia born of a space related fiction. Located on Beach Rd, Woodstock in Cape Town.
This soft cover kineograph is Object 001.
Black card is punctured with thousands of tiny holes and back lit by the sun to produce a short animated vision of a palm-sized supernova. Still frames are printed in sequence and perfect bound with soft cover and dust jacket.
